1. Acceptance

By using Note to Pass (notetopass.com), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the service.

2. The service

Note to Pass is an AI-powered study tool. It processes text you provide (textbooks, exam questions, etc.) and returns AI-generated summaries, notes, vocabulary lists, and quiz questions.

3. AI accuracy disclaimer

AI makes mistakes. Outputs may contain errors, hallucinations, or misinterpretations, especially on highly specialized content. Always verify against your source material for anything exam-critical or life-critical.

We are not liable for decisions made based on AI output.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload. You grant us permission to process it only to provide the service (generate study materials for you).

Don't upload:

  • Content you don't have rights to use.
  • Illegal content (CSAM, terrorism, etc.).
  • Personal data of others without consent.
  • Malicious files.

5. Fair use

Free plan is for personal evaluation. Don't:

  • Automate trial usage (bots, VPN rotation to bypass daily limits).
  • Resell or redistribute our output as your own paid product.
  • Attempt to disrupt the service (DDoS, reverse-engineering APIs to build competitors).

6. Payment & refunds

  • Paid subscriptions bill monthly via Stripe.
  • Cancel anytime from your dashboard; access continues until end of billing cycle.
  • Refund policy: first 7 days refundable for any reason. After that, case-by-case.
  • Token overages (if you exceed plan quota) are billed separately per rates on /pricing.

7. Service availability

We aim for 99%+ uptime but don't guarantee it. Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible. AI provider downtime (DeepSeek, etc.) may impact us.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

Our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, or $20, whichever is greater.
