🧠What is a "token"?

AI processing is measured in tokens (small chunks of text). Roughly:

• 1 Chinese character ≈ 0.75 tokens
• 1 English word ≈ 1.3 tokens
• A 300-page textbook ≈ 300,000 tokens (input + AI output combined)

Your plan's token budget covers textbook processing, mock exams, and vocab reports. The free trial (small text pastes) is essentially unlimited — it doesn't count against your plan budget.

💳 Do I need a credit card?

No. Free plan requires no card. You only pay when upgrading.

🔒 Is my data private?

Yes. Uploads are stored in isolated per-user folders. We don't train on your data.

🌏 What languages?

Chinese, English, Japanese. The AI auto-detects per paragraph.

❓ Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Month-to-month, cancel from dashboard, effective end of billing cycle.

🚫 What if I run out of tokens?

You get a clear warning at 80% and 100%. Either upgrade plan or pay overage rate. Existing data is never deleted.

📄 What file types?

PDF, DOCX, HTML, TXT, MD. OCR is applied automatically to scanned PDFs.

♻️ Are trials rate-limited?

Free trials: 5 per IP per day, max 2000 chars each. Pro+ users have separate quota pool.
